Fahrenzine is a new adventure in publishing brought to you exclusively by Fahrenheit Press.

Each issue features a single short story from one of the most exciting crime fiction talents in the world and is strictly limited to only 100 hand-numbered copies.

Featuring no-nonsense typography and published pamphlet style, Fahrenzine takes inspiration from our old skool punk heritage and pays homage to the pioneering DIY spirit of revolutionary zines like Sniffin Glue, Chainsaw and New York Rocker.

Every single issue of Fahrenzine we've released has sold out in the blink of an eye - the only place you can find them now is on eBay.

Issues 1-13 proved so popular that due to popular demand we've brought the Fahrenzines back for Season 2.

The latest issue is something pretty special as for the first time we'll be publishing a story from a writer who's already claimed a previous Fahrenzine issue.

Two years ago in the run-up to the publication of his ground-breaking novel King Of The Crows we published the 2nd ever issue of Fahrenzine with the story Roadkill Roulette : The Life And Times Of Sammy Davis Jr. And Natty Winston's Last Game by Russell Day.

Now in the run up to the publication of the anniversary edition we've persuaded Russ to come out of writing retirement and serve us up another helping.

Issue 3 of this run of Fahrenzine is Point Fucking No One by Russell Day - and my it's something a bit special.

As many of you will know, Russ is an absolute master of the short-story.

A few years ago we put together a short story anthology - a set of 6 judges read and ranked hundreds of short stories. All the stories were completely anonymised so nobody had any idea who had written what. When the scores were collated and the writer's identities unveiled it was revealed that the two top ranked stories  from all the judges had been written by the same person.

That person was Russell Day and off the back of those 2 stories we went on to publish 3 books written by him before he decided to take a step back from writing for a bit during the pandemic to concentrate on his job working on the front line of the NHS.

We weren't the only ones to spot Russell's writing chops as in 2018 The Crime Writer's Association (CWA) awarded him The Margery Allingham Prize (its annual award for the best short story of the year).

So yeah, in short you'd be nuts to miss out on this one - we're not going to even give you a hint what it's about but trust us - this one is gonna disappear off the shelves faster than any issue we've ever published.

Remember as with all the Fahrenzines, only the 100 people who buy this will ever get to read this story - we anticipate people will be fighting to get their hands on this one so don't hang about.

Only 100 numbered copies have been printed - when they're gone, they're gone
