Every year at Halloween we like to switch things up and publish something a little bit off our usual beaten track and hopefully introduce you to something new, or very very old...

Because of a VERY EXCITING PROJECT WE'LL BE ANNOUNCING NEXT MONTH we've recently gone into a deep dive on all things Edgar Allan Poe, so this year we've decided to go 100% Gothic Noir and step straight into his world by publishing this beautiful edition of his classic tale The Fall of the House of Usher.

This classic story of suspense and mystery will take you deep into the mind of madness and the decaying heart of a cursed family - and it'll put you right in the mood for what we have planned next month. It's one of those stories that people always think they've read, right up until the moment they realise they haven't.

When an unnamed narrator visits his old friend Roderick Usher, he finds a mansion crumbling under the weight of both time and tragedy. Roderick is tormented by an inexplicable illness, and his twin sister Madeline hovers on the brink of death—until something far worse happens. A premature burial, a house steeped in eerie silence, and a shocking final twist await in this tale that will keep you riveted until the final collapse.

Renowned for his masterful command of atmosphere and psychological tension, Edgar Allan Poe has long been celebrated for exploring the darkest corners of the human soul. "The Fall of the House of Usher" is one of his finest works—a must-read for fans of gothic fiction, horror, and those who dare to explore the macabre mysteries that only Poe can deliver.

This very limited edition is published pamphlet style in very much the same way it would have originally appeared in 1839. Once they're gone, they're gone.
